RIALTO YOUTH PROJECT
The Rialto Youth Project, founded in the early **Apply on the
website**?s, has established a reputation for developing innovative
and creative youth work processes and is now looking to fill a
position of 1x full-time community youth worker.
The Project aims to provide a comprehensive youth service, supporting
community development and realising social change in the wider society
Respect for the innate abilities and life experiences of young people
inform a range of working methodologies and programme responses which
are designed to suit the individual needs of young people and in
particular those most at risk
This full-time position is funded under the Department of Children,
Equality, Disability, Integration & Youth (DCEDIY) - UBU funding
scheme through the City of Dublin Youth Services Board.
The ideal candidates will have a real commitment to the ethos and
values of the project and fit one of the following two profile
requirements:
* An *NSETS recognised professionally endorsed qualification in Youth
Work or Youth and Community.
or
* Have worked with young people for two years full time in a youth
work setting and have a relevant professional Degree level
qualification within the Education/Social Science/Youth Work or
Community Work field.
In addition to the above the candidate will need to demonstrate a
strong knowledge and understanding of youth work; have a proven track
record of relevant experience and possess a range of practical skills
and attributes suited to the particular needs and challenges of the
Rialto Youth Project as it currently operates
